About Rover's
Founded in The Netherlands as a family business in 1997, Rover’s Flooring transferred its operations to Letchworth Garden City in Hertfordshire in 2000, and has since been going from strength to strength.
Initially specialising in import and distribution on a modest scale, the company has grown to supply the UK’s professional flooring industry with high quality wood flooring, fitting and finishing products from European sustainable sources.
Growing demand for sustainable high-quality products led to a move to larger facilities in
2005, enabling Rover’s Flooring to move to larger facilities in 2005, enabling Rover’s Flooring to provide great services and fast deliveries from its own warehouse.
The following year saw the commencement of pre-finishing floors to order, offering a bespoke service, whilst at the same time improving our own high standards across all our services. This transition led to further business growth, and in 2007 a doubling in the size of the premises, allowing us to implement a professional grade finishing-line dedicated to applying hardwax oil finishes.

Today our dedicated and fully trained staff operate three finishing lines providing a wide range of finished options. We are also able to offer finishing techniques, including the creation of worn edges, mechanical distressing, copper and nylon wire brushing, fuming, greying and base staining. These, when combined with the finishing options, enable us to offer a vast selection for customers to select from, and create the possibility of us providing a bespoke colour matching service if required.
We hold an extensive range of unfinished wood flooring in our controlled warehouse environment, including solid and engineered planks, as well as solid and engineered herringbone. This broad range of stock enables us to finish and supply promptly to suit the needs of a demanding and time sensitive market.
We maintain well established relationships with production mills in The Netherlands and
Germany using responsibly sourced and maintained raw materials, this means that if we are not able to supply from our own substantial stocks, we can quickly obtain, or have made to order an almost unlimited range of products to suit any need.
Although European Oak is our core product we can obtain and finish woods of many different species and grades. Within our website we set out to provide you with a valuable insight into all that Rover’s Flooring is able to offer. It would be near impossible to showcase all the different variations that we are capable of.
To this day we hold true to our traditional values, which, combined with technical production innovations enable us to offer a first-class service, and high quality flooring products produced to exacting standards.
